Thank you, I am planning on getting a new kitty soon..!!
Since I live in Vienna, Pet shops here don't tend to sell
kitties and puppies off the bat, Its not like in the States
where Breeding animals are out of control! Here you have to
either find a reputable breeder (which is costly) or if
you are lucky find a cat owner who had kittens locally, But
my bf and I have been researching on different cat breeds
for a while and decided on the Scottish Fold or British Short
hair cats. I found a breeder for British Short hair/long hair
mixes here in Austria. I read the breeders page thoroughly and
came to the conclusion that she was perfect and her cats are
gorgeous! She is expecting a new liter sometime in February!
I am very excited about it, since it will be my first time owning
a kitten *purebred* and with parents who won ribbons from competitions!
I usually don't care about these things but well, I rather have a kitten
that was bred carefully with healthy genetics than from a cattery
that houses cats that are sick and unhealthy! I will show pictures of
my kitten when I get him(or her) in my life! ^^

I look forward to them! I never knew it was like that in Vienna- maybe someday it'll be like that here too!

No, you're not the only one. xD It's completely normal, and totally tempting, especially when the cat is still sleepy and they won't get all clawy.

Some cats are completely cool with it, especially if you're doing it where they're only receiving pets in the process.

It's not like they play tricks on us in return, after all.

when I had cats I used them to get to the kitchen - they frightened my dog off so I could get through the door! "I'm armed with a cat and I'm not afraid to use it!"
me and my sister used to use them as dolls when we were kids, too. Cats have never worn more clothes :L
I love your style! So sweet and funny :)

There's nothing more endearing to see the play of relationships between dog and cat. My brother has a pitbull mix that would allow himself to be slept on by their cat. He's one of those quiet, gentle sorts.

It's because of dogs like that that I can't do doggisms- I don't know if I can do dogs justice like I do cats. :)

Unfortunately, Hubby had to find her a good home when we got married because we couldn't have pets in our apartment.

You're lucky to have a cat willing to do that! My cat likes to be in my arms, so I don't try to do anything funny with her that she isn't already party to. Guitar cat=pets

Indeed you're not the only one. Though I use mine as a shotgun more often (pretending to reload is fun). Extremely laid back cats are great for this sort of thing.

When one of ours was young I could put him on his back on my lap and spread his front paws out (he'd stretch his back legs), and thus would be assuming the Jesus-cat pose. I can still do it now but he doesn't hold the pose on his own like he used to :P

I had just one kitty, but after college I had to move back home, so now, along with my family, we have six cats altogether. :) We live in the country in a big house, however, so it's not as much as bad as one would think.

That explains how you got such good ideas for your pictures. they are so cute! ... okay, you're not a cat-lady...

My family is not into cats, so I got my baby once I moved out. Now if I wanted to move home it would be torture for the little guy (I've tried twice).
He's my first kitty, so I'm learning everything new, about cats, other animals and myself.

^_^
